Description
Assist the Catholic Chaplain in managing the Catholic Religious Education program. Tasks include volunteer coordination, event scheduling, budgeting, and administration. Maintain community relations and ensure program activities are effectively managed and communicated.
Key Tasks
- Develop yearly education plans, budget proposals, and registration systems.
- Select educational materials, coordinate volunteer recruitment, and training.
- Manage publicity for events and activities, including digital outreach.
- Oversee programs like Vacation Bible School (VBS), sacraments, and youth outreach.
- Maintain program records and ensure compliance with safety and background checks.
- Manage office and supply needs, ensure timely facility use, and cleanliness.
- Ensure consistent reporting, including participant numbers, budgets, and program performance.
Requirements
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in digital tools (e.g., SharePoint, social media).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility for occasional off-hours work and military chaplaincy environment.
