3. Scope of Work Requirements): The court recorder is to transcribe spoken or recorded speech into written form, using shorthand, machine shorthand or voice written equipment to produce official transcripts of hearings. The Administrative hearing proceedings must be recorded and transcribed to transcript and made available to Management upon request. a. Vendor must provide a certified court recorder by the New Jersey State Board of Court Reporting. b. Vendor must provide a court recorder available to transcribe on site at any New Jersey National Guard Armory (no teleconference) c. Vendor must provide a court recorder familiar with legal vocabulary d. Vendor must provide a court recorder required for the duration of pre-hearings and hearing (Typically 2 days but may be more) e. Vendor must provide electronic and paper verbatim transcripts. Electronic transcripts will be formatted using PDF file format. Electronic copies will be delivered on a CD-ROM f. All transcripts ordered shall be delivered to the office designated by the COR during regular business hours, with postage or other transportation charges fully prepaid by the contractor. Transcripts shall be delivered within 14 calendar days of the final session of any deposition or fact finding conference. g.For each original, copy, and condensed version of the transcript, the contractor shall provide (1) a title page showing the name, docket number (if applicable), place and date of the proceedings (2) a complete index of speakers and/or witnesses, and (3) a Word Index. The index of speakers and/or witnesses shall indicate the page where testimony and/or speech of every person begins and shall identify the exhibits by numbers showing which party introduced them and giving a brief description of the nature of the exhibit. 4.
